Paypal is spreading giftspiration in its new campaign for Christmas. PayPal Australia has rolled out the third instalment of its popular ‘Shop off the beaten path’ campaign to give shoppers across the nation ‘giftspiration’. Created by Isobar, the campaign includes video content from Australian comedian Matt Okine and a partnership with Daily Mail Australia. Following research by PayPal that showed Aussies will purchase 10 gifts for up to eight people this Christmas, the campaign was given the tagline ‘The right gifts for your people’. PayPal Australia head of consumer marketing Liz Lefort said it is also built on research that showed more than half of Aussies aren’t confident with their gift-buying. “Many Aussies will be starting to feel the pressure as they consider what they will get their loved ones this year,” Lefort said. Isobar creative director Michael Hughes said the campaign is an example of how the agency seeks to makes things easier for businesses. “By combining the strategic and creative strength of Isobar with iProspect's expertise in digital performance marketing, we've built a simple and engaging campaign on effective, data driven, foundations,” Hughes said. “It feels good to connect gift buyers with gift sellers in new and powerful ways, while ensuring there will be many happy faces across Australia on Christmas Day."
