iSelect is urging you not to be "left in the dark" about your power bill.
Comparison site iSelect has launched new TV commercials urging punters not to be “in the dark” about their electricity bills.
The ad features “Mr iSelect” discovering people literally in the dark because they don't know anything about their confusing power bills.
“With prices continuing to rise, it’s important that Australians have a place they can go to get expert advice, in-turn saving them time and money,” iSelect marketing director Geraldine Davys said.
The ad's creative was done by AJF Partnership and it is believed this is the first TVC to be placed by Maxus Melbourne since it won the account in December of last year.
In the past, iSelect has been known as an insurance comparison site but the new ad signals iSelect's intent to let consumers know they compare more than just health plans.
“With Health Insurance dominating iSelect’s campaign content in the past, it’s exciting to see Mr iSelect not only step into the world of energy, but physically step into the homes of consumers,’ AJF’s executive director, Josh Stephens, said.
The 30 second TVC is complemented by a 15 second spot highlighting the rise of energy prices in Melbourne.
