BMF tackles domestic violence in Australia with the Full Stop Foundation, specifically looking at financial abuse.
BMF has launched a domestic violence campaign which highlights the impacts of financial abuse.
'Make It Stop' campaign, from the Full Stop Foundation, sees a group of people listening to a distressing phone call between a counsellor and victim of assault.
It shines a light on the different forms of domestic violence beyond physical violence, specifically financial abuse, which is often considered the least recognised type of domestic abuse according to the Full Stop website.
The website also gives figures from the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health, which reports that more than in seven Australian women have experienced economic abuse in an intimate partner relationship.
As well as this, the journal states that one in four Australian women have experienced emotional abuse by a current or former partner since the age of 15.
Make It Stop was released on the Full Stop Foundation's website and social channels and using the hashtag #MakeItStop to spread the message. BMF worked on the campaign free of charge.
BMF launched a similar domestic violence campaign last year called Let's stop it at the start' which has been entered into this year's Cannes Lions.
