Don Bradman, Richie Benaud, Steve Waugh and Michael Clark. Those chosen few have adorned the 'Baggy Green' - the Australian Cricket Team's cap. That's the premise of Toyota's new ad in support of its sponsorship of The Ashes.
The TV ad was released to coincide with the first Ashes match yesterday, and is focused around the legacy and craftsmanship of the cap being made at the Albion Hat & Cap Factory.
Toyota Australia corporate manager marketing integrations Peter Hampson said: “The Baggy Green spot is an articulation of the values that we share with Cricket Australia, the shared values that make this an important sponsorship with Toyota Australia”.
The creative agency was Oddfellows.
