Media agency Zenith has won the global pitch for the consolidated media business of multinational dairy products company, Lactalis.

Lactalis is the European leader in milk consumption, butter and cream and the world’s largest dairy products group and cheese manufacturer.

The win sees Zenith retain all its existing markets in EMEA, APAC, including Australia, and Lat Am and takes on 11 new ones, including Canada, UK and USA.

As master agency partner, Zenith will direct 75% of Lactalis’ markets, leading media communications with global coordination from Zenith’s HQ in London.

Commanding brands such as President, Rachel’s Organic, Valmont and Stonyfield farm, Lactalis has more than 2,000 products, covering all dairy categories.

“We have enjoyed a strong and successful partnership with Lactalis in the Australian market since 2012. We are delighted to renew and extend that partnership and work with Lactalis to continue to grow its brand portfolio and business here,” CEO Zenith Australia Nickie Scriven said.

Lactalis is France’s second largest food products group, behind Danone.

Each year Lactalis International exports more than 5,000 containers to over 80 countries, from traditional dairy to infant milk powders and medical nutrition products.

“We are absolutely delighted to become Lactalis’ master agency partner. This is a testament to our strong relationship with Lactalis and to Zenith’s approach to driving business growth as the ROI agency,” Zenith Global Brand President Vittorio Bonori said.

Founded in London in 1988, media agency Zenith has undergone many chryssalisations to become the agency it is today.

The Lactalis account will move from being serviced out of Zenith Sydney to Melbourne in 2019, with the transition commencing this month.
