Isobar's Erik Hallander promoted to regional head

Isobar has promoted current mobile and innovation director for Australia and New Zealand, Erik Hallander, to the newly created role of regional director, mobile and innovation for Asia-Pacific.

Hallander will take on the role in addition to his current position and will be responsible for driving the agency’s mobile offering across the region and focus on developing emerging technologies.

Hallander said: “Asia Pacific is an incredibly interesting market that’s wildly varied between countries. This new role presents an opportunity to create increased consistency between markets, raise our overall focus on mobile and innovation and continue to deliver world class work.” 

The Works appoints head of digital production

The Works has hired three senior digital specialists, including Dave Flanagan from Clemenger BBDO Sydney to the newly created role of head of digital production.
Flanagan held the same position at Clemenger for nearly two years after an internal promotion. In addition, The Works has appointed Dave Ganley as creative technologist and Kimberlie Sanders as a senior designer, digital art director.
The digital hiring boost comes off the back of The Works' recent appointment to the GlaxoSmithKline digital account, working on the Panadol range of brands.

QMS launches new Brisbane digital billboard

Outdoor media company QMS has launched a digital billboard at the three lane Barry Parade site in Brisbane.

The new billboard is positioned at a major traffic choke zone and delivers an audience of more than 1.5 million contracts per months. Ford, CUB, Supersavers and Australian Super are among the first advertisers on the new billboard.

QMS CEO Barclay Nettlefold said: “We are excited to be able to ‘switch on’ another landmark digital billboard in Brisbane, further enhancing our growing national digital portfolio that will continue to develop across all metro markets in coming months.”

Ooh!Media rolls out Evoke Series digital screens in retail centres

Ooh!Media has rolled out three new full-motion screens inside retail shopping centres at Highpoint, Melbourne Central and Indooroopilly, as part of its Evoke Series network.

The screens allow advertisers to broadcast high definition video and full motion messages to over 6.7 million shoppers, every 14 days. They also allow creative tailoring for time of day, date, news, events and weather.

Ooh!Media CEO Brendon Cook said: “We’re investing millions this year to create even greater impact by carefully selecting opportunities in Australia’s premier shopping centres.  Our retail property partners are serious too, investing $8 billion over the long term to enhance their centres.”

Anthem Australia appoints Marcia Clapson

Creative Agency Anthem Australia has appointed Marcia Clapson as an account manager. Clapson has a strong background in FMCG, health and lifestyle brands and will be working with the agency's top clients. She has previously worked with technology, FMCG, pharmaceutical and health firms in the UK before relocating to Australia.
