Reborn has won Mitchum's digital account and Revlon's social media work following a competitive pitch, following the launch of a new office in the UK.
The Australian indie agency, which calls itself a “boutique giant” has expanded its services to Brighton in the UK, with the agency expecting an official launch over the next month.
It is also on the look out for a media director to bolster its in-house media offering.
The news follows the announcement that Reborn's Australian arm has picked up Revlon's social media account following a competitive pitch and will work alongside GPY&R to bring Revlon's brand position of 'Love is On' to life.
Following its work on Revlon, Reborn also picked up work from Mitchum as its lead digital agency.
Reborn founding partner Sabir Samtani told AdNews the agency has made two additional hires on account of the wins, with more planned.
“Revlon values social media really heavily,” Samtani said. “There are clients where social can be an after thought but for Revlon it's crucial for them, and they consider us a part of their marketing team.
“We're the voice of the brand to a certain degree, in terms of conversations online, so we're included in everything.
Samtani said the work Reborn will be doing for Mitchum will be based around growing its presence in Australia.
“What is really exciting with Mitchum is that it's such a challenger brand,” Samtani said. “When people use it they stay really loyal and not many people leave the brand, so it's about getting product in the consumer’s hand. Being a challenger brand, we'll be doing a lot of really cool work."
On its international expansion, Samtani said that Brighton is starting to build itself up as a place for new media startups which fits perfectly with the agency's entrepreneurial philosophy.
“For us, the ambition of the agency was that we wanted to expand internationally,” Samtani said.
“The UK is a really good first step and we picked Brighton specifically because it's not London and because it's really coming up as a tech and startup town.”
So far, the new office has two staff members, with another hire on the way.
Reborn recently launched a new wine brand – called You Wines – and has another wine launch in the mix for the upcoming months.
