It’s hard to keep track of the account wins and losses across the industry. To help you keep on top of who has what, here’s a wrap of the pitches from the week.

Sensis
Sensis has handed WPP’s WhiteGrey the media and creative account for the Yellow brand, Australia’s largest online business directory. The account will be led by group account director Alice Tschuchnigg, supported by the agency’s core management team including head of strategy Nathan Rogers and creative duo, Garret Fitzgerald and Joe Hill who joined the team in April. The appointment comes after a recent TVC released by Sensis for the Yellow Pages which was created by Big Red with the media handled by Hatched Media.

Slack, Deputy and more
Global communications agency Sling & Stone has recently been appointed to 10 new global client accounts. This includes being appointed as Slack’s APAC agency of record, after three and a half years of working with them in Australia. It has also expanded its global work with Deputy, the workforce management company, to the US. Other new clients include ZeroCo, Future Super, Linktree, :Different, Snow Software, Roam, CreditorWatch and Culture Amp.

Weber BBQ
Edelman Australia has been engaged by Weber BBQ Australia as an agency partner. Edelman will be working closely with the marketing team at Weber to gain share of voice in the market, developing impactful ways of sharing the brand’s heritage, products and innovation. Edelman will work in collaboration with Weber BBQs to develop an authentic national brand partnership strategy, that will drive in-store and earned engagement. Edelman’s scope will cover the Weber BBQ brand, stores, products and accessories.

Hop Growers of America
Daylight Agency has won a competitive pitch to serve Hop Growers of America (HGA) as its in-country market representative in Australia. The appointment will see Daylight manage HGA’s local marketing initiatives and introduce the organisation to Australia’s local brewing community. Chris Gray, managing director, Daylight Agency says the team feels "privileged" to represent such a well-established organisation and connect our thriving brewery industry with US hop growers.

FitSense and Hmlet
72andSunny has won two new account. FitSense, part of the Cover-More Group, has appointed 72andSunny as its creative partner. Hmlet, the co-living startup, has appointed 72andSunny as brand partner following a competitive pitch. Hmlet has recently raised US$40 million via their Series B funding round to accelerate growth in Asia Pacific. The appointments follow a number of recent new partnerships and projects for 72andSunny including Lion, ABC and Uber, with the latest work for Google Multi-Apps and Kosciuszko Pale Ale both launching last week.
