M&C Saatchi has named David Dahan, global managing partner for Ogilvy, as managing director for its Melbourne agency.
Dahan has worked on the Dove Worldwide account and, prior to his time in London spent five years with BBDO in Singapore in various strategic and account leadership positions. He spent five years at Lowe in Paris, working on brands including Mercedes-Benz, Tiger, MTV, Dulux, Johnson & Johnson, Aviva, Toyota, Dirt is Good and Hellmann's.
M&C Saatchi Australia Group CEO Jaimes Leggett said: “David is simply world class. He has a brilliant strategic mind honed by global roles working with some of the world’s most famous brands.
“He has an incredible creative record and I have no doubt he’ll be a perfect foil for M&C Saatchi Melbourne ECD Paul Taylor.”
The is the second large hire for the agency group in two weeks, with M&C Saatchi appointing Leo Burnett's Andy DiLallo into the newly-created role of chief creative officer, following a global search.
