Seven West Media resumes PageUp services after data breach

Seven West Media has resumed using the PageUp service for its career website after written reassurances a data security threat has been resolved. SWM suspended using the PageUp service in June after the technology company revealed an unauthorized third-party had gained access to PageUp’s systems, potentially placing the personal data of job applicants at risk. Following an internal investigation, PageUp has reassured SWM that there was no evidence that SWM data had been extracted from the PageUp system or of any fraudulent activity. Use of PageUp recommenced on 20 July 2018.
