KPMG's Josh Faulks is the new CEO of the AANA
Peak industry body the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) has appointed Josh Faulks as its new chief executive officer. He will take over from interim CEO Julie Flynn in October following an extensive and highly competitive international search process.
SCA regional appointments
SCA announced a raft of content appointments, and newly created roles, for both its Hit and Triple M stations, as well as a number across the regional network.
In Townsville, Nathan Bongiovanni begins at Hit103.1 on August 22 as assistant content director and announcer.
Carley Whittington begins as the new Triple M Workday announcer on August 22, a move across the corridor from Townsville’s Hit103.1.
In Toowoomba in Southern Queensland, Dane McGuirk has been appointed content director and announcer at Hit Darling Downs.
Hogarth adds three senior roles
Hogarth has made appointments to three senior leadership positions.Harry Preston joins Hogarth in Australia as general manager. WPP-veteran Kathryn Banfield joins Hogarth as head of HR for Australia and Nick Dean joins Hogarth as talent director.
Man of Many hires John Guanzon as head of social
Man of Many has strengthened its social media offering with the appointment of former news.com.au senior video & social producer John Guanzon as head of social.
Little Dot Studios appoints ex News Corp Tim Beecroft sales director
Digital content agency and media network Little Dot Studios (an All3Media company) has appointed Tim Beecroft sales director ANZ. Beecroft brings over a decade of media agency sales experience, most recently at News Corp.
Jason Tonelli is Zenith Australia CEO
Publicis Groupe ANZ appointed Jason Tonelli as CEO of Zenith. Tonelli, currently chief executive officer of digital agency Razorfish and chief product officer of Publicis Groupe Australia and New Zealand, will move into his new position in January 2023.
Trio of senior promotions at Hearts & Science

Melinda Duffy is promoted to national business development director, Australia; Georgia Leathart moves to national head of strategy, Australia; and Christie Meischke takes on head of people & culture, Australia & New Zealand.
