Movers & Shakers: oOh!media, OMD, Icon Agency, TEG

It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out some of the biggest moves this week.

OMD Sydney adds head of group structure to leadership team
OMD Sydney announced changes to its leadership team, adding a head of group layer. Five of the six newly appointed heads of group have been elevated from within the agency. The sixth member to join Sydney’s head of group structure is Rob Maddison, who joins from Google.

TEG appoints Luke Bould chief commercial officer
Entertainment and data analytics business TEG has appointed Luke Bould chief commercial officer. Bould is responsible for all of TEG’s commercial activity, working with all the company’s businesses to identify and drive growth globally. He also oversees TEG’s communications and corporate affairs function.

Hamish Fitzsimmons joins Icon Agency
Hamish Fitzsimmons has been appointed director of strategic advisory and public affairs at Icon Agency, tasked with driving a growing government and stakeholder relations practice.

Mars Food's Bronwyn Powell is the new CEO Australian Marketing Institute
The Australian Marketing Institute has appointed Bronwyn Powell chief executive officer. Powell has more than 30 years’ experience in transforming and positioning brands for growth, and most recently as marketing director for Mars Food Australia.

Grant Kirkby moves to the Media Shop as head of sales
Newly rebranded outdoor media company The Media Shop (TMS) has made multiple new hires following the deployment of 250 IGNITE screens across the Coles Express national network. TMS has welcomed five new members to its team including Grant Kirkby as head of sales NSW & QLD. 

oOh!media makes key agency and direct sales promotions
Outdoor media specialist oOh!media has announced a range of promotions and a new appointment to its agency and direct sales teams. Wade James has been promoted to national head of agency sales. Lanai Wiadrowski has been promoted from group sales leader to NSW sales director - agency. Returning to sales in a newly created role of NSW sales director – direct, is Nathan Shakespeare. 

oOh! has also added four group sales leader roles to its NSW teams, with Mollie Clyma (agency), Meaghan Spencer (agency) and Jess Nikolovski (direct) promoted from senior business managers. Jasmin Johansson has been promoted to senior business manager - agency after four years with the company.

oOh! appoints Chris Roberts chief financial officer
oOh!media has appointed Chris Roberts chief financial officer. Roberts is currently oOh!’s group commercial finance director and has held a variety of senior finance-related roles during his six years with the company, including acting CFO and acting chief commercial operating officer.

Amplified Intelligence Appoints Anneliese Urquhart as Chief Product Officer
Anneliese Urquhart has been appointed chief product officer at Amplified Intelligence. An experienced business growth and Saas startup specialist, Anneliese will drive Amplified’s exciting attention product development program.

Ryvalmedia to open in Sydney, appoints Carat's Bianca Falloon
Simon Ryan's RyanCap is launching Ryvalmedia Sydney this month and has appointed Bianca Falloon as general manager. Ryan and Falloon will open the doors to Ryvalmedia Sydney with a plan to scale quickly, and a focus on investing in capability and growing their team of digital specialists to meet client demand.
