Multinational property and infrastructure construction giant Lendlease has moved its media planning and buying account to independent agency Atomic 212 following a competitive pitch, AdNews understands. It's thought the account has an annual media budget of $15 million.

The ASX-listed firm was previously working with Frontier, an independent full service agency that has Destination NSW, Coleman, Krispy Kreme and General Pants Co on its books.

Lendlease is one of Australia's largest developers of infrastructure, commercial and residential buildings. It is the developer of the Barangaroo South waterfront precinct, Sydney's new convention centre and led a consortium that built London's Olympic Village.

In 2014, after receiving 120 submissions across all categories, more than a dozen creative and digital agencies made the roster to support the Barangaroo project for a two-year period.

Headquartered in Sydney, Lendlease employs about 12,000 staff internationally.
