Integrated creative agency Emotive has appointed Monika Vidovic as business director.

Vidovic most recently headed up the account management team at The Monkeys.

Prior to that she was at whiteGREY for three years, after an eight-year stint at Y&R and IdeaWorks.

In her new role, she will lead the Emotive account service team and manage Emotive’s longest standing client Optus.

Vidovic says she looks forward to joining the talented team at the agency.

“They have very impressive momentum and an excellent client base," Vidovic says.

"I’m super excited about partnering with clients to make great work and build on the agencies’ growth.”

Emotive CEO and founder Simon Joyce says Vidovic was the perfect fit to join the agency.

“We are thrilled to have Monika join the crew, she has a fantastic skill set, a genuine passion for creativity and is a great fit culturally for the agency," Joyce says.

Vidovic joins the agency alongside fellow The Monkeys alumni Michael Hogg who joined Emotive at the beginning of the year as managing partner and head of strategy.

Vidovic's appointment comes on the back of continued growth for the Sydney agency, with an increasing client base which includes Optus, Audible, Unilever, HelloFresh, Google, Virgin Australia and Delta Air Lines, Australian Turf Club, YoPRO and Sportsbet.

She commences on June 8, 2020 and will be based out of the Emotive Beach Haus in Sydney.
