We're separating the boys from the men, revealing the top three finalists for Cleo Media Bachelor as voted by you.
While the competition started with 12 hopefuls, those bachelors have been whittled down through trial by media and lots of application forms to reveal three finalists, still in the running to be named the best guy in adland. Well best available guy anyway.
In no particular order - dumroll please - meet your final three.
First up is Ricky 'Banana' Chanana from Maxus, a star contender for this year's Cleo Media Bachelor who also fancies himself a bit of a star in the kitchen.
Here's what Ricky had to say in his:
I should be the Cleo Media Bachelor of the year because:
This is difficult to answer, but I think what makes me stand out from the other media bachelors is my values, my passion for life, great work ethic and ability to make everyone laugh.
To impress a girl on a date I would:
Just be myself. I’d take the time to explore my dates interests as well as share my own. To demonstrate that I am a gentleman, I would also take the opportunity to show off culinary skills and cook my date a nice meal. My name Chanana does not rhyme with banana for no reason.
My life motto is:
That life is short so make sure to live it to it’s absolute fullest.
Next is Rafe Berding from GlobalX Legal Solutions who clearly knows the value of baby animals in winning ladies hearts – or popularity contests. Next years' contenders, take note.
Here's what Rafe had to say in his:
Why should you be CLEO Media Bachelor of the Year?
I fit the brief, I am your ultimate campaign.
What would you do to impress a girl on a date?
Take her horse riding on the family property.
What is your life motto?
The future is my unknown paradise.
Last but certainly not least is PHD Media Victoria's Richard Chelotti who apparently can make pasta from scratch. Line up ladies.
Here is what Richard had to say:
I should be the Cleo Media Bachelor of the year because:
It's a bit of fun! I don't take myself seriously, so I'm just having a go and seeing what happens.
To impress a girl on a date I would:
Prepare her a lovely meal. I might try my hand at some handmade pasta accompanied by a glass of champagne. We would then head out into town for a drink and a dance at a cool bar.
My life motto is:
Be generous and kind to others. And always be up for a laugh.
Round of applause for our final three – and all 12 for taking part - but it's not quite over yet. Only one of these fine young men can take home the title of Cleo Media Bachelor of the Year. Stay tuned.
