Swisse Wellness has enlisted Chris Hemsworth as its global brand ambassador as it seeks to expand internationally.
Hemsworth will feature in a global marketing campaign, including TV and social media advertising, as part of the new partnership.
The brand is working with creative agency Noisy Beast for the campaign after acquiring it in 2017.
Swisse's parent company H&H Group global director of marketing Severine Brichard-Rooney said its work with the Australian actor will help the brand push an image of an 'Australian healthy lifestyle'.
"We are really proud that we are now in 12 countries, with many more in the next 24 months, but our home remains here in Australia," Brichard-Rooney said.
“Through Hemsworth's ambassador role we will work together to bring to life our heritage story and the foundations of our brand, and of course our signature line, 'Celebrate Life Every Day'."
The Thor actor already has a string of successful brand partnerships to his name.
In Australia he worked with brands such as Foxtel in its 'Make it Yours' campaign and was the face of the successful Crocodile Dundee campaign for Tourism Australia.
“The Swisse message of living healthier and happier aligns with my personal goals,” Hemsworth said.
He joins other Aussie icons such as Nicole Kidman, former cricketer Ricky Ponting, international model Ash Hart, and, most recently, tennis player Alex De Minaur as ambassadors.
