Following a competitive pitch, it's thought AJF Partnership may be set to win the account of food delivery company Menulog. AdNews understands Richards Rose and Havas were also in the pitch, and potentially one other smaller agency. M&C Saatchi declined to pitch for the account.
According to sources, the account was moved from M&C Saatchi more than six months ago. Bashful had been working on the business prior to the AJF win on project-based campaigns, but did not pitch for business.
At the beginning of 2016, former Nando's CMO Kim Russell was brought on as Menulog's marketing director. However after only nine months in the role, her LinkedIn confirms she has departed. Tasman Page now heads up the marketing team.
M&C Saatchi won the Menulog account in December 2015, taking on strategic and branding duties for Australian and New Zealand.
In May 2016 it launched its first creative work from M&C Saatchi with the tagline: “What do you feel like?”
At the end of last year Menulog appointed Match Media, now Blue 449, to handle its $10 million media account.
Menulog and AJF Partnership have been approached for comment.
Last year, AJF Partnership Sydney founders Digby Richards and Adam Rose bought out their Melbourne partners to form a new independent creative agency Richards Rose.
