They were all in same school halls once, and from today they will be reunited in the next instalment of the School Banking campaign for CommBank.
Put together by M&C Saatchi and Ikon, the School Banking campaign for Commonwealth Bank features four different ads running across TV and online.
Promoting the benefits of saving and reward among school-age kids, and the 80-year-old scheme run by the bank, they have pulled in well-known faces Glenn McGrath, Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Dr Chris Brown to talk about their experiences saving for cherished possessions when they were young.
The ads are simple and effective, drawing on nostalgia and everyday moments. Two of the creatives shine a spotlight on mothers and school teachers who are also involved in the Commonwealth program, making for an easy to understand pitch which will no doubt resonate with parents.
