Drive a Polo. Get dates. That's the long and short of it. Or at least think that you can.
The latest campaign for Volkwagen's hugely-popular Polo is all about confidence. Developed by DDB it attempts to send a message that 'small car equals attractiveness'. Using the slogan 'it's a confidence thing', the advert plays on some pretty stereotypical ideas of romance and flirtation but overall, it's playfulness is appealing.
Volkswagen's creative account is understood to be up for review. At least one Sydney-based agency is hoping to take the business from incumbent DDB.
