The Fuel Agency has launched the “TAFE + Jobs” campaign to raise awareness for the Victorian government’s investment in making TAFE course free from 2019.

The Fuel Agency has been enlisted by the Victorian government to create a campaign aimed at increasing 2019 TAFE enrolments.

The government has allocated $172m to make priority TAFE and pre-apprenticeship courses free from 1 January 2019. Additionally, $303.8m has also been set aside in order to increase course places by 30,000.

The decision comes on the back of record investment by the government in road and rail projects, as well as in the health, community and disability sectors, all of which results in an increased demand for skilled workers.

The TVC’s show a variety of individuals receiving job offers and starting their new positions, and reveals their obvious delight.

“Helping Victorians get the skills they need to land a great job really is a wonderful news story, and so we wanted to capture the moment of pure joy of when people land their dream job,” says The Fuel Agency CEO Tim Kidman.

The “TAFE + Jobs” campaign will run for several months from August, featuring three 15 second TVC’s, along with a 30 second and 60 second TVC. It is accompanied by radio, out-of-home and digital support.
