South Australia's horse racing body plan to pull more punters to the track through their latest marketing offering.
Thoroughbred Racing SA have launched a new creative campaign to attract more country race-goers to to the southern state.
The campaign, created by Adelaide-based agency Nation, kicked off with a with a TV commercial on August 16, ahead of this year’s Balaklava Cup on September 2.
Thoroughbred Racing SA's marketing manager Michelle Greene said the campaign focuses on the ethereal beauty of horses and the festivities that happen trackside.
“The new campaign is about highlighting two key elements of our race days, the party atmosphere and the stars of the show – the horses,” Ms Greene said.
“There are so many rich stories in horse racing and we’ve been able to capture these in a way in which we hope will make people fall in love with the horses and the events themselves.”
The campaign includes television, social, outdoor, radio, press, print and on-course collateral.
