Target has unveiled a new motto "higher quality, lower prices" which it says is more than just a tagline and runs to the heart of what it does.

The positioning will run through from Target's marketing right through the its customer experience in-store. And in ensure it delivers on the commitment, Target has published its "five point quality promise": better materials, improvements in finishing and construction, better sizing, higher safety and fabric durability.

The campaign also focuses on both real Australians and its ambassadors including Jessica Mauboy and will launch across TVCs, OOH billboards, digital marketing and PR.

Target says its focus on “real people is part of the company’s continued commitment to celebrate the diversity of all its customers in order to deliver on its commitment to make fashion accessible to all Australians – whether that be diversity in the shapes or sizes of models, their ethnic background, their life stage or their sexual identity.”
