Clean water is simple for some, yet so difficult for others.
Stella Artois has partnered with Water.Org to help provide access to clean water to women in the developing world.
The campaign is designed to encourage people to visit BuyaLadyaDrink.com and donate $25 to guarantee someone in the developing world access to clean water for five years.
The spot is comprised of two films, by Mother and production company, 1stAveMachine, and shot with Palma Pictures.
The lead 90-second clip features a tower of Stella Artois glasses in a white room and as it rotates the painted images on the glasses tell the story of a woman’s journey for water. The second clip stars Matt Damon who says to the camera:
“A glass of water – it’s one of the simplest things to some of us. But for many it’s one of the most complicated. Everyday women from around the world spend millions of hours just collecting it. But we can help change that, we can help give that time back…Together we can help empower them to live a life that can prosper.”
Matt Damon founded the international non-profit organisation in 1990 to solve the global water crisis.
