Sam Kekovich is back pushing lamb - but this time it's for the pets of Australia, not the people.
The Meat and Livestock Australia’s (MLA) official lambassador, Sam Kekovich, has switched up his lamb push this year, moving from people to pets.
Kekovich appears in a new ad for Advance Super Premium Pet Foods, urging dog owners across the nation to choose lamb for their furry friends this Australia Day.
In the clip he says that anything but lamb for your dog on 26 January is “barking mad”.
“Teach your owner that to serve anything other than Advance lamb this Australia or any day for that matter, would be poor form and un-Australian,” Kekovich says.
The ad is a recreation of the infamous MLA ad from The Monkeys, which starred Kekovich calling on Australians to introduce more lamb into their diet.
Last week, Dave Hughes channelled Kekovich in an Australia Day ad with an anti-meat message.
