Qantas and Arnott's give a "little taste of home"

The only thing more Australian than the beach is a Tim Tam. Now Arnott's and Qantas are making them available across the world.

From Australia Day Qantas and Arnott's have madeTim Tam biscuits available on selected Qantas International flights, which means there will be a lot more expats blubbering thankful tears on airplanes home. 

To celebrate the launch, 300 Qantas passengers arriving in Sydney from Melbourne on 26 January were surprised with boxes of Arnott’s Tim Tam biscuits presented on the luggage carousel alongside their bags. Some people have all the luck.

Arnott’s Tim Tam brand manager Catherine Hart said: “Tim Tams are Australia’s favourite chocolate biscuits and, when travelling, they’re like a little taste of home. We know our consumers will enjoy them on Qantas flights across the globe.”

Tim Tams are now a snack item in the self-service bar on selected Qantas International flights in economy. The news follows Qantas' new nostalgic ad campaign which is hinged on the idea of the airline feeling "like home".
