"The real you matters" - a campaign by Havas Melbourne for SBS encourages workplace inclusiveness.
Being authentic and embracing one's personality at the work place is the objective of Havas Melbourne's latest campaign for SBS, "The real you matters."
SBS aims to create awareness about the advantages of a positive and inclusive working environment.
This campaign film reflects scenarios from work life where characters are shown hiding their true selves from their co-workers and managers.
It was made to emphasise the importance of being genuine to oneself, without having the fear to be judged.
The campaign comes off the back of research from the Diversity Council of Australia that found that employees who are in an inclusive setup show 19 times higher job satisfaction and are four times likely to continue working for their company.
Though, in the last 12 months, one in five Australians have been victims of discrimination.
"At SBS we are a very diverse employer, but we recognize that diversity is just one of the building blocks for a great workplace. Inclusion is at the core of building a happier, more productive environment for everyone, because an inclusive workplace creates a place where diverse thoughts, ideas, and opinions are freely shared," said Stig Bell, director of people and culture at SBS.
"This improves our business' ability to adapt and grow. This campaign builds on the already positive work that SBS has done in this space."
