There are plenty of things we'd all like for Christmas – shoes, car, island – but have you ever thought of getting something we all really need?
The Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) has launched a campaign asking people to give their friends and family something far more important than a six-pack of socks this Christmas – a donation. And it's not just because no one likes socks. It's because only the funding of scientific research will deliver a cure for cancer, and ACRF needs everyone to help.
The campaign by M&C Saatchi went live on television this week and will also roll out with radio, digital and social executions.
M&C Saatchi executive creative director Ben Welsh said: "Giving is always better than receiving at Christmas and helping the fight against cancer is a great gift."
