Geico keeps it short, sweet and unskippable in the follow-up to its 2015 campaign

Geico has released its latest campaign following the award-winning 2015 Unskippable ad, with a series of spots so crazy it's hoping you won't mind that this time around, you won't have the option to skip the films.

The new "Fast Forward" campaign from The Martin Agency includes a series of 15-second online videos that viewers can't click away from – but with ads as outrageous as these you shouldn’t want to.

The ad starts and within a few seconds it skips straight to some truly bizarre endings.

In one video two men are hiking when the ad announces, “We now fast forward to the end of this Geico ad so you can get to your video faster”, cutting back to the hikers hanging from the claws of a giant bird and playing a saxophone – as you do.

Another spot shows a pair of fisherman who somehow end up as the ornaments above the fireplace of a giant fish’s home, and the third ad shows lumberjacks chopping wood before sharing a bear-hug with a grizzly.

The ads are on YouTube and Geico will support them on social media.

There are also full versions of the ads available which make a little more sense than the 15-second clips.

Geico’s first 'Unskippable' ad was named one of AdNews best global ads of 2015 for its wit and how it tricked viewers into watching a pre-roll and hearing about insurance.
