Elf, Angel, Reindeer and Mouse return with a host of new friends in Myer's new Christmas spot.
Elf cracks the shits while trying to direct his Christmas tree decoration friends to dress the tree with lights.
He decides to ditch Angel, Reindeer and Mouse to find a new family of Christmas decorations he can enjoy the festive season with.
On his adventure Elf comes across a rude and slightly rotund Snowman, a very wooden and mildly racist Scandinavian family of decorations that don't like colours and jingles, a pre-school project gone wrong and raving Christmas lights.
But in this classic 'the Christmas tree is always greener' tale, Elf soon realises that it is those little imperfections about your loved ones that makes them so special.
“You guys are nuts, but you're my kind of nuts,” Elf realises just in time to save his Christmas.
Clemenger BBDO Melbourne executive creative director Stephen de Wolf says: “The heart of this year’s story is the meaning of togetherness at Christmas. And at a time of year when many Australian’s and their families may be finding it tough, the hope is the important partnership between Myer and the Salvation Army can make their Christmas together a little better. We’re delighted to see our characters back for a third year, and having the story come to life in Myer’s iconic Christmas windows is truly special.”
