Spotify launches first Instagram campaign

Spotify Australia has rolled its first Instagram campaign - indeed, the first of its kind anywhere in the world for the streaming service, incorporating the hashtag #spotifysummer.

The campaign, which runs until the end of this month, is designed to rally further interest from the 15 to 24-year-old music fans across Australia by calling on them to keep hold of their summer memories.

A series of five, playful creatives focus on various 'memories': post-festival inertia, the beloved Aussie road trip, as well as nights of music-induced passion.

“Paid social media campaigns will play an increasingly important role in Spotify Australia’s marketing strategy throughout the rest of 2015,” said Serena Leith, ANZ marketing director.
