Miniature cars race through vineyards to celebrate the start of the F1 season.
Chandon has launched a content campaign to mark its partnership with F1 ahead of the new season.
From Havas Sydney, the clip features Spanish racer Fernando Alonso and Belgian up-and-comer Stoffel Vandoorne and sees the two battle it out in a miniature car race through the Domain Chadon Winery in the Yarra Valley.
Chandon and McLaren-Honda F1 have been in partnership since early 2016.
Chandon marketing and business development director Ashley Powell says: “The content we created last year put Chandon on the global stage so we wanted to emulate that, to bring the Chandon story to life. It was fantastic to have Stoffel on board and work with Fernando again.”
Leveraging the Havas Village offering, Chandon also tapped Red Agency to manage PR and influencer activity around the partnership in the build-up to the first race of the season in Melbourne.
Havas Australia COO James Wright says: “We wanted to dial up the innovation and push the boundaries to help us tell the story around Chandon and unlock its unique spark and identity.
“Our teams across the Havas Village from broadcast, digital, strategy, creative and PR have all come together to create an engaging and memorable piece of content which will set the scene for the partnership in the coming months."
Havas has won the social and digital duties for Moët Hennessy Australia as the beginning of the year - the parent company of Chandon.
