Cyclists should to be aware of their surroundings, that's the thrust of City of Sydney's new campaign. Sounds obvious, but sometimes it's not what you say but how you say it.

Frost* has come up with a pictoral safety message: hand-drawn pictures and graphic fonts will be featured on outdoor panels around Sydney.

Design manager at the City of Sydney, Steve Howlett said there was "real appetite for the authentic amongst cyclists and a hand-made aesthetic resonates with this audience. To change behaviour we need to reach this target with a visual language true to them and I think this work achieves that”.

The posters will be installed across inner Sydney, throughout outdoor sites, including metro lights and city lights.
