Dirty laundry gets aired (and not in the gossip rag way, thank god) in a campaign from City of Sydney for its Art & About event. It's an apt motif given the theme: 'Private Lives... Public Places'.

Art & About, a festival of public art events, is in its 12th year. The campaign is designed to be an installation in the festival's 'City Lights'. It seeks to provoke questions about the private aspects of people.

Alphabet co-creative director Paul Clark said: "The blurred line between public and private is of particular relevance is our age of social media. People seem eager to tell all in an online sphere, where they can construct a version of their true selves, editing out the imperfect parts. We wanted to strip it all back and find out what lies beneath our manicured exteriors."
