The Works has kicked off a hunt for 101 social media-savvy Canberrans for its next campaign for the city's tourism body.
The campaign, 101 Local Humans, is celebrating Canberra’s 101st year. Visit Canberra wants to find 101 locals to take part in and share the city's tourism experiences and attend special events.
A month-long search for these social media-loving locals has kicked off with a radio, print, digital and PR campaign. Applicants must live within a 101km diameter of the Canberra GPO.
Douglas Nichol, creative partner at The Works, said: “Social media advocacy is now a well-established tool in destination marketing as we know people prefer suggestions and reviews from their trusted network of families and friends.”
