Youngbloods QLD will hold The Great Debate next week, an end-of-year event where Brisbane’s top advertising professionals go head-to-head in a light-hearted but lively debate to settle the industry’s biggest rivalry.
Taking place on December 5 at La La Land in Fortitude Valley, the event combines a game-show format with serious industry banter, laughter, and a few surprises along the way.
The Great Debate will feature six to eight industry figures split into two teams, with Suits (business strategists, account managers) taking on Creatives (designers, copywriters, and idea-makers).
Covering ad land’s most controversial topics, the panelists will make their case to the audience, who will ultimately decide the winning side.
A Youngbloods QLD spokesperson said that the Adverting Council of Australia's youth arm wanted to create an event that highlights the collaborative spirit of Brisbane’s advertising community while bringing an entertaining twist.
“The Great Debate isn’t just about rivalry; it’s about celebrating diverse perspectives and the incredible talent across our industry," said the spokesperson.
Tickets, priced at $25, includes entry, nibbles, and a limited bar tab.
