Isabella Morlin

In this series, AdNews spotlights young talent in the Australian media, marketing and advertising sector. This time it's Atomic 212° performance marketing manager Isabella Morlin.

Full name and job title:

Isabella Morlin, Performance Marketing Manager at Atomic 212°.

Time in current role:

I have been in my current role for over two months now.

How long have you been in the industry?

Since my start at Atomic 212° over two years ago, working my way up the ranks from Performance Assistant to Executive to Senior Executive and now Manager.

How did you get here? Was this always the plan?

I’ve always loved media and marketing and, as a Gen Z who grew up with social media, I decided to pursue a Marketing & Business Analytics Bachelor’s Degree straight out of high school. After multiple media, marketing and PR internships, I landed my first full time position in my final year of Uni at Atomic 212°.

Who is your right-hand person?
My go-to know-it-all is our Client Lead, Will Ridley, guiding me from day one.

What is the best thing about the industry you work in?

The great people I get to work with (shoutout to my Atomic 212° team Syd3) and of course seeing my clients flourish from the work I have done is always very rewarding.

And the biggest challenge?

Keeping up with all the new and updated platforms I use every day. There’s always something new to learn but that's what makes the job fun. You really never stop learning.

Whose job have you set your sights on in the future?

Any media agency owner.

Where do you turn for inspiration?
Young entrepreneurs as well as agency owners who are killing it in Australia and beyond.

My favourite advert is:
Nike ads. They are all so motivating and seeing the success of others is what fuels my drive to do and achieve more in life.

Tell us one thing people at work don’t know about you?

I’ve run a few small businesses over the years, first one being at 10 years old, which was a hair accessories boutique attending local markets every other weekend.

12.  In five years’, time I will:
Have continued to climb up the ranks!
