WPP's business in Australia has reported positive growth for the first time in a year.
Like-for-like revenue less pass-through costs growth came in at 2.3% for the September quarter, according to papers lodged for the global advertising group’s results.
The last time WPP Australia showed positive growth was the same quarter last year. Since then the local business has posted negative quarters.
The result is better than the US at 1.9% and the UK at 0%.
Overall, WPP's like-for-like revenue less pass-through costs growth was 0.5%.
