WPP Australia's business reported negative growth in the December quarter.
Overall the global advertising posted a "resilient" 0.9% like-for-like growth to $US11.86 billion in the year to December.
And the company is forecasting growth of flat to 1% for 2024.
Papers associated with the results show Australia's like-for-like, less pass through costs, revenue down 0.8% in the three months to December.
This followed a positive September quarter at 0.5% and a negative 4.5% in the three months to June.
The result for the December quarter compares to the US, down 4.5%, and the UK, down 5.1%, and a positive 1.5% in Canada.
