WPP's business in Australia as a whole improved in the September quarter, recording 4% like-for-like growth compared to the same three months last year.
Numbers in the advertising company's quarterly results this year had been showing the local business lagging global growth.
The latest result is an improvement from 3.2% growth in the June quarter. The global business reported 3.8% organic growth for the September quarter.
Comparing to pre-pandemic numbers, the Australia business is down 7.7%. Globally, WPP is 10.9% higher than 2019.
WPP AUNZ was merged into the UK-based holding company in April 2021.
