WPP AUNZ has named the leaders of its corporate campuses in Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane, part of the advertising group's new three-year strategy.
MediaCom Brisbane managing director Katherine Williams steps into the role of Queensland group general executive WPP AUNZ and becomes chair of MediaCom Brisbane.
Wavemaker Adelaide managing director Matt Hofmeyer, who has been with GroupM since 2005, takes on the role of SA group general executive WPP AUNZ, as well as maintaining leadership of Wavemaker.
Steve Harris, chairman and CEO of The Brand Agency, Perth’s largest agency, has become WA’s group general executive WPP AUNZ. He retains his role at The Brand Agency.
And Dominik Heitmar has been appointed head of corporate strategy, a new position.
He will work closely with the company’s leadership structure to implement and execute the company’s internal corporate strategy, plus drive strategic initiatives.
Jens Monsees, WPP AUNZ CEO, says the campus strategy aims to bring brands closer together to forge greater collaboration and better solves client challenges.
"WPP AUNZ’s brands are the strongest on the market," he says.
"We have the country’s brightest minds, best creatives and greatest depth in data and technology. We are excited about bringing people closer together and the opportunities it presents to our clients and our teams.
“By having more of our brands housed in one location in these markets, and reporting to leaders in each campus, we will better utilise the rich and diverse capabilities of our people."
WPP AUNZ has been trialling the campus model at its Kent Street office in Sydney, where 14 agencies have been part of an 18-month pilot to provide integrated offers and services to clients.
WPP AUNZ is working towards campus models across its entire operations, including Sydney, Melbourne and South East Asia.
