Woolworths has unveiled a set of new adverts as part of its latest campaign for its pre-paid mobile offering.
The supermarket giant, which officially launched Woolworths Connect in June, is bolstering it's marketing efforts for the new service.
The ads, by Leo Burnett, are running on TV and digital video online and at the end of the month will include traditional media targeting, YouTube content film and Facebook activity.
Woolies said YouTube is part of its wider marketing campaign and that retired Australian professional rugby league footballer Beau Ryan's involvement is part of its wider Woolworths Connect initiative.
“Beau will be involved even more as we progress, notably towards the end of the month when there will be a much more extensive campaign across platforms,” A Woolworths spokesperson said.
Woolworths Connect, which utilises parts of Telstra’s 3G network, allows customers to take advantage of two pre-paid mobile options. Its Woolworths Everyday Rewards members get further discounts.
