Wimbledon delivered 1.3 million viewers to Nine

The Wimbledon Men's Final delivered a national audience of 1.301 million for Nine, an uplift of 18%, when linear, consolidated and broadcast video on demand (BVOD) are combined.

The final, which saw Novak Djokovic defeat Australian Nick Kyrgios, was the timeslot winner with all key demos and Total People across the 5 City market, East Coast and in all metro capitals for Sunday, July 10. 

Among the key demographic of people 25-54, the audience uplift was even stronger with a rise of 29% to 489,000 from a Total TV perspective; it was the number one program with people 18-49 and 25-54 across the 5 City market.

The match also recorded a Live BVOD Audience of 173,000, achieving the highest ever Live BVOD Audience for a Wimbledon match.

For Seven on the same day, The Best Of The Best And Worst of Red Faces was both the number one entertainment show and in its timeslot for total people, with 944,000 national viewers. 

Ten’s MasterChef Australia Sunday rose 16% to 924,000 total national viewers, while finishing in the top five for people 25-54 with 380,000 Total TV viewers.
