The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) has announced co-founder and CEO of Who Gives A Crap, Simon Griffiths, will join its line-up of guest speakers for its RESET event on November 27.
Who Gives A Crap is an Australian toilet paper subscription start-up that donates half of all profits to charities that work to provide access to clean water and sanitation in developing countries.
It recently donated $5.85 million to various projects around the globe, which is a 750% increase on last year.
Griffiths will also reveal how the brand has coped with the panic buying that occurred in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and how it has achieved more than 10 times growth since then.
“We’re very pleased to announce Simon’s joining us for RESET this year," says AANA CEO John Broome.
"He is ideally positioned to talk about brand purpose and how the business championed innovation, resilience and leadership."
Accompanying Griffiths at RESET is former Prime Minister the Hon. Julia Gillard AC, iDiC CEO Adam Goodes, Telstra CEO and MD Andy Penn and MECCA Brands founder and co-CEO Jo Horgan.
More presenters will be announced soon.
The AANA has partnered with AdNews to bring the industry exclusive content from the day.
RESET will take place at The Australian Turf Club, Randwick in Sydney on 27 November 2020 and incorporate a live streaming option. To register visit: reset.aana.com.au
