Marketers across Western Australia (WA) are being asked to lend their voice in a survey that will create a benchmark to annually measure and track representation and experiences in the WA marketing industry.

Released by the Western Australia Marketing Association (WAMA), a not-for-profit organisation that exists to champion the WA marketing community, and Edith Cowan University (ECU), the survey is the next step on the DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) roadmap unveiled by WAMA at the start of the year.

Tess Palmyre, DEI committee member for WAMA, said this survey is an important step in helping the WA marketing community benchmark its DEI performance, and identify areas needing attention.

"As DEI has been a priority for WAMA since inception, we're proud to be working with ECU to commence this initiative," she said.

“We look forward to the WA marketing community not only getting behind the survey, but also making the changes that will see improvement in future survey results!”

The survey will be open from today until Thursday September 14 and only takes ten minutes to complete. Participants will also go into the draw to win a pair of AirPods Pro (valued at $400) and six $100 Coles Myer gift cards. Answers are anonymous and completely confidential.

A live link to the survey will be posted on the WAMA site later today.
