Western Australia's Department of Health has awarded its creative advertising services business to a roster of agencies including Wildlings Creative, The Brand Agency, Kiosk Creative Services, Rare Creative Thinking and Likeable Creative, AdNews can confirm.

The tender closed in November last year. The panel of large, mid-size and small creative agencies will deliver strategic and creative advertising, and related services for various campaigns and public education awareness activities as required, on a non-exclusive basis.

The original contract value is estimated to be $4,400,000, with the fixed period contract term's initial expiry date on June 23, 2027.

The incumbent is 303 MullenLowe Perth. In 2019, The WA Department of Health launched a pilot program, the GP Urgent Care Network, through an integrated campaign with 303 MullenLowe, along with a channel strategy by Mediahub.

In 2021, the agency and WA Health system launched a major national and international campaign in a bid to attract thousands of new recruits.

The Belong campaign focused on WA health workers in real settings who have opted to work in the medical, nursing and midwifery, and allied health fields because they care about the wellbeing of others.
