Telecommunications company Vocus is pitching its consumer division media account, AdNews can reveal.
Vocus is the parent company of brands Commander, iPrimus and Dodo. Vocus is owned by infrastructure investors Macquarie Asset Management and Aware Super.
PHD Melbourne is the incumbent, winning the media account in 2018 after working with the brand on a project basis.
The account is estimated to be worth $15 million, insiders told AdNews.
The brand's latest campaign 'Meet the Dodo next door', launched December last year, saw the next evolution of the Dodo brand widening the world of Dodo and introducing new characters.
Last year, Vocus acquired TPG’s fixed business and fibre network assets for $A5.25 billion.
Vocus gave no comment to AdNews.
