VMO has expanded its VMO On-The-Go network, securing the advertising rights across 500 premium petrol and convenience locations with the acquisition of The Media Shop (TMS) Ignite network.
The deal was first reported in AdNews in June.
Only the Ignite network of TMS' portfolio has been acquired, with other parts of the privately-owned business remaining with the out-of-home company.
The acquisition gives brands access to a strategically placed network of digital advertising screens at the entrance to Coles Express and Reddy Express convenience stores.
VMO On-the-Go now boasts a network of 1,200 locations and more than 4,000 screens.
The Hoyts Group and VMO CCO, Anthony Deeble, said the ongoing investment in the expansion of its network remains a key focus for VMO.
"I’m pleased to partner with Viva Energy and look forward to building upon this solid foundation for success ahead," he said.
