Independent advertising platform Viztrade has launched VizCommerce, an off the shelf retail media solution.

It enables any commerce business to monetise their website or app visitors.

The VizCommerce platform also allows any business to run their own sponsored product listings, display and native ads.

The company has partnered with global vendor SAS Advertising to provide its ad server technology, SAS Match 360, to manage the retail media offering.

Viztrade is positioning the solution as an alternative to other models such as aggregated retail media marketplaces or building an in-house proprietary solution.

Viztrade CEO Simon Larcey said VizCommerce provides the complete infrastructure to create and build an advertising business that will deliver a commercial revenue stream for any transactional business.

“We provide the ability for any commerce business to create their own off-the-shelf retail media network," he said.

Larcey said that VizCommerce was a low-risk venture for businesses who want control over how their ad inventory is sold and how ads appear.

“Our walled garden approach gives commerce businesses complete control of who and what is promoted," he said.

Viztrade currently counts REA Group, DailyMail Australia and Just Auto Media Network among their list of clients.

The company launched a self-serve solution for publishers to generate digital advertising revenue directly from their own websites in 2020.
