A media agency has been recognised for the first time by the NSW Telstra Business Women Awards, with Virginia Hyland, chief executive of HM Communication Group, named as a finalist in the NSW awards.
HM is now the largest female owned media agency in the country with 24 staff, growing from offering pure media planning services to developing in-house creative design and social content arms.
Hyland said: “Our integrated team who sit side by side are second to none at understanding what makes the female Australian audience sit up and take notice of brands. Having the creative, social media and media planners together means that they can change up campaigns in real time to deliver ongoing great results for clients.”
She added that she hopes the awards create awareness for other females of the opportunities the media agency industry.
