The MCN cameras were there to capture all the action for the return of The Big Clash, a special 20/20 charity cricket match for UnLtd last week. As media owners and agency heads put the big deals to the side, and focused on a big game of cricket instead.
The game saw the likes of Ikon's Rob Martin Murphy; Posterscope's Joe Copley; Bohemia's Brett Dawson; Pandora's Chris Freel and MCN's Shae Bonney – and many more, put their differences aside to take to the pitch.
It was a close game, with agency owners taking the title by just four runs. Read more on the results here.
AdNews editor Rosie Baker, who umpired alongside Mumbrella editor, Alex Hayes, says: “There was some great cricket, some terrible cricket and some absolutely legendary umpiring going on, if I do say so myself.
"Despite the searing heat, and knowing nothing about cricket, the top calibre sportsmanship on display at the Big Clash transformed me from a sport hater to a cricket fanatic over the course of the afternoon - and all for a good cause.
"AdNews has always been a huge supporter of UnLtd and The Big Clash is an amazing way for the industry to come together, cast rivalries aside and give something back. Let's get some more support on the sidelines next year.”
